Fisher’s Design, MEP & Construction Team Handles the Simplot RDO Complex Project
Food safety was of highest importance when J.R. Simplot and R.D. Offutt teamed to upgrade an existing production facility. The joint venture, Simplot & RDO, chose Fisher Construction Group as their design | build contractor for the retrofit and expansion, updating the processing facility with the latest in sanitary methods and processes to ensure the highest levels of food safety.
Fisher’s design and food processing MEP team designed significant upgrades and renovations throughout the facility. These included easy-to-clean walls and ceilings, a new ventilation system, in addition to point drains. All to accommodate Simplot RDO’s new line of ready-to-eat blanched and roasted vegetable products.
In summary, this complicated plant upgrade took a traditional processing plant and created a highly functional, food safe processing environment.
