Fisher Uses on our Client’s Cold Storage and Industrial Projects
TrueCore, an insulated metal panel manufacturer who serves the same market as Fisher Construction Group, recently acquired by Nucor. This acquisition has allowed TrueCore to scale production to meet increasing demand while expanding its product line to include insulated roof panels and fire-rated panels.
To efficiently serve customers on a national scale, TrueCore needed a western expansion. With about a dozen Nucor facilities already in Utah, including one nearby, Brigham City proved an ideal location for TrueCore’s new facility. Given Fisher Construction Group’s experience and shared client base with TrueCore, they were a natural choice to lead the construction.
As the producer of building materials, this project is unique in that it is a complete Nucor building; Nucor steel structure and NIPG walls. Additionally, this project included a standing seam IMP roof, one of the first installs for a Fisher project.
The roughly 120,000 square foot building houses state-of-the-art equipment that will manufacture the insulated wall and roof panels in a continuous line spanning nearly the entire length of the 675-foot-long building.
