Fisher Construction Wins AGC Build Northwest Award for Simplot Columbia Basin High Bay Freezer.
Fisher Construction Group is honored to announce that our work on the Simplot Company Columbia Basin High Bay Freezer has received the AGC Build Northwest Award in the $10 Million and Over category, recognizing excellence in construction across the Pacific Northwest.
Presented by the Associated General Contractors (AGC), the Build Northwest Awards celebrate projects that demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship, innovation, and collaboration. The awards recognize contractors who successfully deliver complex projects while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and project management.
Located in Moses Lake, Washington, the Columbia Basin High Bay Freezer represents a highly specialized addition to Simplot’s new production campus. The project required careful coordination, advanced engineering, and precise construction to support large-scale frozen food production and storage. The high bay freezer was designed to maximize storage density while maintaining strict temperature control and operational efficiency critical to Simplot’s processing and distribution operations.
This award reflects the dedication and expertise of the entire project team, from design and engineering through construction and commissioning. It also highlights the strong partnership between Fisher Construction Group, Simplot, and the many subcontractors and collaborators who contributed to the project’s success.
“We’re incredibly proud of this recognition and grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a great partner in Simplot,” said Ryan Smith, Project Executive. “Projects like this demonstrate what’s possible when experienced teams come together to solve complex challenges and deliver exceptional results.”
We extend our sincere thanks to Simplot Company for their continued trust and partnership, and to the entire project team whose commitment to excellence made this achievement possible.
