Adapting to Unexpected Bedrock Beneath the Site

ICW produces an extensive line of wall mounting systems for computer equipment, monitors and specialty medical equipment. Through innovative product development and a manufacturing process designed to maximize responsiveness to customer needs, the company grew dramatically since it was founded.

As the company was about to outgrow their current facility, they asked the team at Fisher to work with them to design and build a space which met their specific manufacturing needs.

Initial excavation encountered extensive bedrock beneath the site. To avoid expensive rock excavation, the building was raised and stepped. Committed to meeting the construction schedule, the Fisher team redesigned much of the structural as the project footings were placed.

The concrete tilt-up two story building occupies a 3+ acre site and includes areas for product powder coating and assembly, as well as, offices, break rooms and a community room.
