The Fisher Approach

A client meets with a team from Fisher to review an idea from which, through our experience and past project cost information, we can develop a conceptual budget to determine if the project appears to be viable.
In this phase a project’s general scope, size and architectural concept are identified. The architectural and enginering group prepares preliminary drawings and documents, often including a site plan, floor plans, elevations and a cross section of the building.
Following approval of the preliminary design, Fisher is further contracted to prepare final design documents which define the details of a project and allow for final not-to-exceed pricing and construction contract preparation. Our team makes sure that all the requirements for permitting are being met, so when the design is submitted, it moves through the process as quickly as possible.
Fisher has a smooth process to manage the countless details of a construction project. We work closely with owners through every step of the process, making an idea become reality. Our Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) assures the viability of a project, while continually looking for savings to further improve the return on investment
To be sure that you have all tools necessary to manage your new facility, when construction is complete, we provide a system ‘walk through’ and review the building’s maintenance manual. This Owner’s Manual includes all of the as-built plans, warranties and any other relevant documentation.
