Quality Control Program

Quality Control at Every Phase

Fisher Construction Group’s Quality Control Program (QCP) ensures that design, construction planning, sourcing of products, and expectations of work are in accordance with your project specifications and plans.  Assuring you that all workmanship and materials supplied by and/or installed by Fisher Construction Group or any of its subcontractors will meet or exceed the requirements of the contract documents, standards and applicable codes.

Fisher’s QCP Defines:

    • Organization and Personnel Responsibilities
    • Meetings Necessary for Each Project
    • Procedures for RFI’s and Submittals
    • Procedures for Inspecting Construction Activities
    • Reporting Procedures, Including Certifications and Documentation

Documentation

Communication is key with complex construction. To ensure quality and accountability, Fisher requires our team to provide summaries of site activities recorded on various logs and reports that are provided to the client throughout the entire project. These documents include:

    • Superintendent’s Daily Log
    • Daily Log/QC Report
    • Project Management Meeting Minutes
    • Testing Plan
    • Re-Work List
    • RFI Log
    • Submittals Log
    • Punch List

Inspections

DESIGN – Fisher’s AE Team utilizes 3D models in addition to detailed plans of your building to ensure all the details are right. Up-to-date drawings, plans and specifications are made available through private data sharing account.

CONSTRUCTION – Daily inspections take place on-site from the first shovels in the ground until Fisher is fully demobilized form the site. All inspections are documented on a Daily Log Quality Control Report. Any discrepancies that are found are recorded and transmitted, and then corrected immediately.

PUNCH LIST – Near completion an inspection of work is conducted to develop a punch list of items that do not conform to the approved drawings and specifications. The list and an estimated date of completion of the items on the list are provided to the client. Once completed the client is notified for Final Inspection.

FINAL ACCEPTANCE – Once all punch list items and work performed under the project is complete, the final inspection is taken place with the client for final acceptance of the facility.
